We&#8217;re on the track, but we need to pick up the pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The National Supercomputing Mission (NSM)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>34 systems installed across top institutes like IITs, IISc, and CDAC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total current capacity:&nbsp;<strong>~35 petaflops<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aim: build&nbsp;<strong>70+ systems<\/strong>, power both scientific research and AI models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plans are underway to add&nbsp;<strong>45+ petaflops<\/strong>&nbsp;with indigenous hardware like&nbsp;<em>Rudra<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Trinetra<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AIRAWAT: India\u2019s AI Powerhouse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>200 AI Petaflops (mixed precision); scalable to 790.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hosted at C-DAC Pune.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training AI models in agriculture, medicine, and Indian languages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skill-Building for the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Partnerships between C-DAC &amp; AICTE to train students in HPC, AI, ML.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making supercomputing accessible to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities,&nbsp;<strong>democratizing the power of computing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We\u2019ve lit the spark. Thus, this is not just a blog. It\u2019s a beacon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The world today doesn\u2019t just need politicians or CEOs.
